Madrid Open

We designed and built a custom camera system commissioned by YBVR for coverage of the Mutua Madrid Open. The camera arrangement combined cinema-camera hardware in a purpose-built rig for immersive sports capture.

The project album shows the camera mounts, paired cameras and associated capture hardware. It also includes an earlier tennis-venue deployment with Davis Cup signage. Those photographs document the system’s development and field use, while the project title identifies the Madrid Open commission. Camera positions and mounting geometry were part of the hardware work needed to turn separate cameras into an immersive capture system.
